I really enjoy your blog. The "flood" certainly was extensive as far as damage, but I am happy there was no loss of life and that the outfitters in the Canyon were so responsive.

I went on a trip last year along the Arkansas river and we had a blast. Our guide took us through class 3 and 4 whitewater almost all day long for three days. We went on www.raftmasters.com and found our trip, booked it and had the best time.

Straight from a guide: the company's safety standards should go above and beyond what the state requires. You should never raft with a company that just barely meets state mandates.
